Community service is what scouts do. It provides a means for scouts to get involved and give to those who need it.

Adopt•A•Highway
Troop 3 is proud to be part of the Adopt•A•Highway program. Our little section of Michigan's roadways is I-69, form mile marker 151–153. This is approximately from the Olivet/Ainger Road Exit north to approximately the Stine Road overpass. Troop 3 cleans this section of highway 3 times per year as prescribed by M•DOT. April is our Spring clean-up, then again in July for the Summer clean-up, and the Fall clean-up wraps up the year in September.

CarWash
Each year Troop 3 sponsors a car wash to raise money for a local charity. In 2005, Troop 3 raised money for the New Beginning Pregnancy Center. This year, we will once again donate all proceeds of our car wash to the New Beginning Pregnancy Center. We look forward to washing a lot of cars for this worthy charity.
